
Arthur Dominey
was born in Burgeo NFD April 16th 1917. He Joined The Merchant Marine in 1940 transferred to the army for 4 months and asked to be returned to the Merchant Marine. He first served on the S.S Mariposa, in a convoy of 46 ships and 5 lost. He also served on the The Lord Kelvin and Galarite and he served as boson on the Evelyn B. The Evelyn B escaped as several ships were torpedoed in Wabana NFD and helped rescue survivors. He Joined the Legion in 1947 and was bartender for many years. Read The full story on the web.
